Boss Raid Guide

Every 3 days, you can participate in boss raids. You have 10 chances to do as much damage as you can to Pintaurus , Big Nose or Boldpus. Each attempt cost 3 energy. You will die eventually when you take them on. It is inevitable.

There are 3 Kinds of Boss in Hello Hero:
  • Pintaurus
  • Big Nose
  • Boldpus
Pintaurus

  • Skills:
  • Normal Attack – Deals decent damage by swinging his giant arm at you
  • Mental Breakdown – Stuns one of your heroes for 2 turns
  • Cattle Driving Song – Decreases your party’s attack damage for 2 turns
  • Noogie of Disaster – Instantly KO’s a single hero you have
  • Beginning of Death – Removes all positive buffs from your party
Tips for Pintaurus
  • Save extra energy so you can use it before the raid begins and get either the Critical Chance or Attack Damage buff for more bonus damage. This will do more damage to Pintaurus in the long run and give you a much better ranking at the end of the Boss Raid.
  • It really helps if you have heroes with Immune spells: Destroyer Shacken(3★), Fluxion Shacken(4★), Lloyd(5★), Teddy Bear Pinky(6★).Immune spells can ignore Noogie of Disaster, which instantly destroys hero aside from that you can avoid the Mental Breakdown and Cattle Driving Song which can stun and decrease damage of your hero.
  • Use heroes that can either buff your party or debuff Pintaurus. Try to bring a full out offensive team so you can deal more damage. Healers aren’t recommended due to the fact that they don’t do enough damage over time(but Healers with all heal and remove debuff can be useful).
  •   If you have lasted long enough while fighting him, Pintaurus will become angry and enter his second phase, where he will attack more often and deal more damage when he attacks. As if that wasn't enough he gains another ability, Beginning of Death that removes all of your buffs from your party.

Big Nose

  • Skills:
  • Cyclone – Increases evasion of himself by 100%
  • Hot Snort – Does 500% damage to a single hero and stuns them for 3 turns
  • Dragons Breath – 120% damage to the entire party
  • Beginning of Death – Removes all positive buffs from your party
Tips for Big Nose
  • Save extra energy so you can use it before the raid begins and get the Critical Chance if you don't have a remove enemy buff skill so you can still land good damage when he buff himself with Cyclone.
  • Bring heroes with Immune Damage and Remove Enemy Buff:  Forward Robin(4★), Midfielder David(5★), Master Lee(6★). Immune Damage can ignore Hot Snort and Dragon  Breath.Apophis(4★), Space Flying Apophis(6★) to remove cyclone buff.
  • Hot Snort can be evaded and not a 1 hit skill unlike Noogie of Disaster a nice provoker like Miho(6★) can be useful since her skill is provoke and attack(restore health) , a good defender with high hp can help or hero with evasion buff skill like Peach from the forest of fog(5★) she has a skill which can heal all heroes 10% and give a evasion buff of 50%.
  • Use heroes that can either buff your party or debuff Big Nose. Try to bring a full out offensive team so you can deal more damage. Healers aren’t recommended due to the fact that they don’t do enough damage over time(but Healers with all heal(plus buff) and remove debuff can be useful).
  • If you have lasted long enough while fighting him, Big Nose will become angry and enter his second phase, where he will attack more often and deal more damage when he attacks. As if that wasn't enough he gains another ability, Beginning of Death that removes all of your buffs from your part.
Boldpus

  • Skills:
  • Wiggle – Deals decent damage by swinging his tentacles at you.
  • Isn't it hot – Freeze one of your heroes for 2 turns.
  • Strong Cocktail –  attack  all your party.
  • Blinding Splendor – Attack a single hero you have.
  • Arctic Ice Water – attack all your party with chance to freeze for 3 or 4 turns.
Tips for Boldpus
  • Save extra energy so you can use it before the raid begins and get the focus buff to increase the chance of attacking the main body.Unless you aim the body, you won't be able to get high damage by hitting tentacles. So it is very important to increase 'Focus' of your heroes to attack body for more damage.
  • Bring heroes with Focus and Immune damage:  Forward Robin(4★), Midfielder David(5★), Master Lee(6★), General Harold (5★), General Eric (6★), Fighter Yul (4★), Mint Macaroon(3★) or M244 Turret (3★). Immune Damage can ignore Blinding Splendor and Strong Cocktail while focus will help in attacking the main body.
  • Blinding Splendor can be evaded and not a 1 hit skill unlike Noogie of Disaster a nice provoker like Miho(6★) can be useful since her skill is provoke and attack(restore health) , a good defender with high hp can help or hero with evasion buff skill like Peach from the forest of fog(5★) she has a skill which can heal all heroes 10% and give a evasion buff of 50%.
  • Use heroes that can either buff your party or debuff Boldpus. Try to bring a full out offensive team so you can deal more damage.Healers with all heal and remove debuff can be useful.
  • If you have lasted long enough while fighting him, Boldpus will become angry and enter his second phase, where he will attack more often and deal more damage when he attacks. As if that wasn't enough he gains another ability, Beginning of Death that removes all of your buffs from your part.
